Lower prices. Better quality. Shorter lead times. Without the legwork.
For brands
Post one production job. We turn the messy intake into a clear factory-facing brief, help source qualified responses, and keep the quote and sample process in one place.
For factories
Join the early factory side of the marketplace. We standardize incoming briefs so your team can quote faster and spend less time chasing incomplete buyer requests.
How it works
Tell factories what you need to make, how many units, target price, where, and when. Tech packs welcome.
We qualify fit manually first: category, capacity, communication, sample motion, and whether the job is worth the factory's time.
Tech-pack revisions, quote comparison, and sample requests live in one thread instead of scattered email and WhatsApp.
Use the workspace to keep milestones, files, comments, and production photos tied to the actual PO.
Sampling, done right
Production doesn’t ship from a one-shot quote. You need proto, fit, PP, and TOP samples — with revisions, lab dips, and trim cards in between. We run the loop so your first production order isn’t your first fit check.
First physical interpretation of your tech pack. Stand-in fabric and trims. Use it to verify pattern and construction before committing to materials.
Same factory, real fabric, graded base size. We coordinate fit comments and revisions round by round.
Pre-production. Final fabric, final trims, final construction. This is the reference your order ships against.
Top-of-production, pulled live from the cut. The audit before goods leave the factory floor.
Factory fit
The first version of StitchGrid is intentionally hands-on. We qualify factory fit by capability, order size, communication quality, sample process, and buyer seriousness before anything becomes a match.
Quote comparison
When factories respond, we line up FOB, lead time, MOQ, and order total in one table. Best price and fastest lead are highlighted, and we flag when a quote is outside your target band.
Production tracker
From sample request through PO, production, QC, and shipment, the MVP gives both sides one place for files, status, notes, and photos.
Fabric library
Quote ranges shift dramatically by weight, finish, trims, and construction. We match factories by what they actually run — not a generic category tag — and flag when a spec will price you out of your target band.
A starter view of common constructions:
StitchGrid is in private beta. You post a production job with category, quantity, timeline, target cost, and a tech pack if you have one. We manually help convert that into a factory-facing brief, source qualified conversations, and keep quotes, files, messages, and milestones organized in the product.
No. We are not claiming hundreds of thousands of factories or public brand references. The MVP is founder-led and selective: we qualify each factory relationship around the jobs we can realistically support.
Phase 0 is brokerage plus workflow. We expect to charge a success fee on production orders we help broker, without a long-term contract or per-message platform fee.
Yes. Phase 0 is brokerage. The deposit and milestone payments go from you to the factory directly through the channels you'd use anyway. StitchGrid invoices you separately for the take rate.
We are focused on real production orders, not one-off prototypes. If a job is too early or too small for a factory relationship, we will say that directly instead of forcing it into the marketplace.
